Best-in-Class Tour Guides
Our Tour Guides are eager to share the valley with you and enhance your education of Napa’s history and the vine-to-bottle process.
Ride a Car-Free Bike Path Through Vineyards
Enjoy car-free biking through the vineyards on the newest segment of the Vine Trail.
The route is mostly flat to gently rolling for a total of 8 miles (16 miles roundtrip). And don’t forget: you’ll have four levels of E-Bike pedal-assist at your fingertips!
Choose Your Own Adventure
Upon arrival in Calistoga, you’ll have an hour of free time to explore the town or grab lunch on your own. But if you’d rather keep riding, your Tour Guide can take you on a scenic extension along one of our favorite country back roads, adding up to 8 miles to your ride.

Our Guided Tours are totally Electric!
Electric bikes give us the flexibility to take the scenic route and reach wineries farther afield than we could using regular bikes.
Casual bikers appreciate that longer distances and hills are no sweat on an electric bike. And if you’re looking for more exercise, you can easily turn the pedal-assist level down or off to increase your effort.
You’ll find the pedaling experience on our E-Bikes feels very natural – it’s you, only faster!

The Vine Trail Discovery Tour typically covers ~16 miles with an optional extension up to an additional 8 miles (for up to 24 miles total). The terrain is mostly flat to gently rolling. And don't forget, you'll have an E-Bike with four levels of pedal assist at your fingertips!
The Vine Trail Discovery Tour primarily sticks to the Napa Valley Vine Trail (car-free bike path). We may leave the trail for short stretches (~1 mile or less) along quiet country roads in order to reach a winery or other point-of-interest. The optional 8-mile extension is along one of the quietest country roads in the valley. You might see a car or two, but it's as quiet as back country roads get.
The wineries don't have dress codes, but we understand you want to blend with other guests. Our advice is to think "smart active" - like you would for a round of golf.
Recommended: Warm layers for cool mornings, shorts or capris, longer pants with tapered/slim fitted legs, flat-soled shoes, sunglasses, sandals (as long as they are secure) - and definitely sunscreen!
Not Recommended: Denim (heavy seams can become uncomfortable), maxi dresses or wide-legged pants (loose clothing can get caught in the chain or spokes), wedge heels, flip flops, mules.
$14-28 per person reflects a 10-20% gratuity range. Gratuities are split 70/30 between your Tour Guide and Van Support.
Full prepayment is required to confirm your reservation. If you need to cancel, a minimum 48 hours notice is required and 10% cancellation fee will apply before refund (online booking fees are also non-refundable). In lieu of refund, you can request a full-credit Gift Card to reschedule for a future date.
We tour rain or shine. Rain is extremely rare from May through October. We can supply rain jackets to ward off light sprinkles. We can also tour by van instead.
At 24 hours prior to tour Meet Time: If the hourly rain forecast during the hours of tour is 50% or greater, you have the option to cancel and receive a refund less $25/person cancellation fee. We can also issue a full-credit Gift Card (no expiration) if you'd prefer to reschedule for a future date.
