Day 1 *Arrival Day
Napa Valley Bike Tours is your first stop upon arrival to Napa Valley. While you’re at the shop, we will ensure the bikes we have reserved for you are a proper fit and ready for your first bike tour tomorrow. Depending on your arrival time, you may even have time to take them out for a spin around town if you like. Or alternatively, we can steer you to some nearby attractions. Hotel check-in will be sometime between 3 and 4 p.m. Dinner awaits you at a fantastic Calistoga restaurant tonight.

*Note: If you are able to arrive at our shop by 9:30 a.m. on your Arrival Day, this can your first day of bike touring (instead of your Departure Day).

Day 2
After breakfast, you will arrive at our shop at 9:45 a.m. for your first guided Ride, Wine & Dine Bike Tour of the vineyards. We will start pedaling at about 10 a.m. Rest assured that the pace for this tour is decidedly casual and catered to your ability and inclination. The emphasis is on taking in the scenery and enjoying great wine. The majority of our tour guests describe themselves leisurely cyclists.*

Each bicycle tour covers approximately 15-20 miles, visiting four wineries, with a catered lunch served at the third winery overlooking the vineyards. As one of our Pedal & Pamper vacation guests, we'll make sure you're back to our shop in time to make it to your afternoon spa appointments.

We recommend making your appointments for 4 p.m., so you can get in a full day's tour, enjoy your spa treatment and still have plenty of time to relax and get ready for dinner.

*You should know that we definitely have plenty of options to satisfy riders looking for more challenging terrain or extra mileage, just let us know!

Day 3
You will arrive at our shop at 9:45 a.m. for your second guided Ride, Wine & Dine Tour of the vineyards. Each day you’re on tour with us, we’ll ensure that you are on a different route with fresh scenery to enjoy and new wineries to visit.

On any day, you can can choose stick with our popular Ride, Wine & Dine Tour and cycle at a casual pace to four wineries. Or, if you’re hoping to log some miles at more of an exercise-minded pace (and don’t mind skipping a few winery stops to do it), you can opt to start the day with our Wine Country Club Ride. The Club Ride rolls out of our driveway at the same time as the Ride, Wine & Dine Tour, but sets a more of a sweat-inducing pace (determined by your ability and inclination). You’ll cycle 20-30 scenic miles before eventually meeting up with the Ride, Wine & Dine Tour at the winery designated as today's lunch destination. You'll get to enjoy a tasting and lunch and then sit in on the Ride, Wine & Dine Tour for the remainder of the day, which includes one more wine-tasting stop.

Once again, after today's tour, you'll enjoy another relaxing spa treatment. You can choose to book your treatments all at the same spa, or we can suggest different properties if you want to mix it up. Later this evening, you'll get to experience another great Napa Valley restaurant.

Day 4
You will arrive at our shop at 9:45 a.m. for your third guided bike tour. On one of your tour days (not necessarily today), we’d like you to experience our Cycling "IN" the Vineyards Tour. You will be outfitted with mountain bikes for this excursion (don’t worry, the terrain isn’t technical) and we’ll take you to the Carneros wine-growing region where you will enjoy the unique chance to bike off-road through the vineyard property at one of our favorite wineries. If for any reason this adventure doesn’t appeal to you, please let us know and we will refrain from scheduling you on this tour; otherwise, our Tour Manager by default attempts to ensure that all of our vacation guests get to experience a Cycling "IN" the Vineyards Tour during their stay with us.

After your final spa treatment this evening, a reservation will be set for you at yet another distinguished local restaurant.

Day 5 *Departure Day
Finish your packing and meet us at our shop at 9:45 a.m. today for your final guided bicycle tour of the vineyards. After the tour, we can help you arrange to ship any purchases made during your stay.
