Tour Overview
One of the most unique things to do in Napa Valley is take a bike tour that allows you to go off-road and literally through the vineyards! These off-road vineyard routes are most definitely not open to the public, making this tour an absolutely unique adventure that is not to be missed!
On this tour, you’ll venture to the Carneros AVA, a region that is as famous for its picture postcard views as it is for its milder-climate varietals such as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
With a casual biking pace and frequent stops, the emphasis is on enjoying the scenery and learning about the vineyard growth cycle in an immersive way. You’ll pedal an average of 2-4 miles between stops; the total amount of riding on this tour is less than 10 miles.
The riding is mostly flat and a mix of about 80% on quiet country roads (like this) and 20% off-road riding through the vineyards. Most of the off-road riding is on wide dirt roads between blocks of vineyards, so rest assured you don’t need to be an experienced mountain biker by any stretch; however, off-road riding is inherently bumpy compared to riding on paved roads, so this tour is best suited for reasonably confident bike riders.
but a MUST-DO while in wine country."
